- You must be 21 years of age to order wine, beer, or any alcohol products. You must verify that you are at least 21 years of age through one of the following: Driver’s License or State ID with picture; Passport; Military ID; Residence Card.
- You must be 21 years of age to order wine, beer, or any alcohol products. Shipments must be personally received, and verification of age will be requested through one of the above-certified methods. A written signature will also be required.
- Because shipments must be personally received, we recommend that you have the product shipped to an address where an adult will be available to receive it during normal delivery times of UPS or FEDEX.
- Although shipments may often be received in fewer days, you should allow 7 to 10 business days from date of order to receipt of shipment.
- Shipments will be made through UPS or FEDEX. Also, if you are a local resident, you may arrangee to pick up your order at The Wine Underground.
- Individual state laws prevent shipment of alcohol to some states. We are currently able to ship to 28 states. See Shipping Information for acceptable shipping states.
- All orders and shipments will be confirmed through a return e-mail.
- Returns: If you receive broken merchandise or you determine that a particular bottle is tainted in some way, you may return the product within 30 days at no shipping charge for a replacement or credit. Please contact us for a return shipping label.
- Cancellation/Refusal of Shipment: If you wish to cancel your order prior to us shipping it, please contact us immediately via e-mail or phone (see Contact Information) and your order will be cancelled with no charge. If your order has been shipped already, you will be able to refuse the delivery, and a full refund for the product will be credited to you. However shipping charges will be applied.
- Pricing:
- All regular Wine Shop and Beer Shop product offerings are competitively priced. We do not artificially inflate the price based on limited availability or popularity factors.
- Monthly “Feature” products have further discounted “sale” prices during the time that they remain featured. These sale prices are displayed on the Feature page.
- Wine Club and Beer Club Members receive an additional 10% discount on all product orders of $250 or more
- Product Availability: All products sold through The Wine Underground must be available for purchase through established Colorado distributors. If you have requested a specific custom order, we will do our best to obtain it for you, and will notify you if we are unable to fulfill your request.
- Vintages: Vintages available through distributors are generally limited to the current vintage. Rarely are multiple vintages simultaneously available. Therefore, we do not guarantee that a specific wine vintage is available. If the advertised vintage sells out, and a new vintage is shipped to us, it is our policy to ship the vintage that is currently available. Many wines do not vary widely from vintage to vintage.
- Payment Options: We accept payment through all of the following credit or debit cards: American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover.
- Sales Taxes: Sales tax on products must be legally applied as follows:
- All product shipped to a location outside of Colorado: 0%.
- All product shipped to or received within Aurora Colorado: 8.20%
- All product shipped to a location in Metro Denver, CO: 4.35%
- All product shipped within Colorado, excluding Metro Denver, CO: 3.15%
