The Alexander Valley of Sonoma is an important growing region for Merlot and Cabernet (with Silver Oak and Jordan as examples). Full-bodied with ample tannins, this wine has hints of mint, dried cranberry, and cedar aromas, surrounding a body of dark cherry, cola, and cassis. An example of the serious Merlots produced from this region.
