NYR DESCRIPTION/REVIEWS:
Most of the fruit for this Gewurtz comes from the Anderson Valley where the warmer climate encourages tropical fruit and floral aromas for this traditionally "spicy" grape varietal. The 2008 vintages offers enticing aromas of rose petals, honeysuckle, peaches, and orange zest, which are complemented by the balanced palate of pears, melon, lychee, and a hint of nutmeg. The 2008 Gewurtztraminer is balanced and fresh enough to be served as an aperitif or with many dishes. Its rich texture pairs well with cheeses, Thai curries, or Chinese food.--Winemaker
