"The 2004 Gala 2 is composed of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Merlot aged for 14 months in French oak and bottled unfiltered. Opaque-purple, it has a Bordeaux-like bouquet of pain grille, scorched earth, smoke, and black currant. Full-bodied, the wine has a firm entry onto the palate accompanied by plenty of spicy black fruits with underlying silky tannin.
